The event will include stick horse racing, a western-themed dress-up contest, and a petting zoo. Western girls, Pikes Peak Rangelet and El Paso County Queens will be performing at the event.

Admission to the ProRodeo Hall of Fame at 103 ProRodeo Dr. is free and lasts until noon.

All proceeds from this event will go to the Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center (CSTRC) and Stable Strides. These local equestrian centers offer equestrian therapy to people of all ages. Through a variety of programs, the Riding Center helps people with disabilities improve their lifestyle and quality of life.

CSTRC says that therapeutic riding focuses on riding skills that have been proven to enhance the rider’s self-esteem. According to StableStrides, the Riding Center serves people with adaptive needs to promote active physical, behavioral, cognitive, emotional and social development.

The Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame opened in August 1979 as an educational and entertaining museum. It was designed to preserve the heritage, heritage, culture, and past, present, and future champions of the original cowboy contest.
