Oconee, South Carolina (WSPA) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has charged a man shot when he entered Timber Ridge Lane’s home on Tuesday.
Congressman charged Anderson’s Chaunsey Demetrius Williams, 26, for possessing weapons while entrusting violent crimes, robbery, and petite theft.
According to the arrest warrant Williams has been accused of entering Timberridge Lane’s residence Committing a crime without consent and while armed with a deadly weapon. Williams has also been accused of stealing shoes from his home.
After being treated for a gunshot wound, Williams was released from the hospital and detained in Oconee County Detention Center.
In addition to Williams’ arrest, lawmakers said the investigation identified two other subjects, one of whom had been withdrawn from prosecution based on evidence collected so far.
The sheriff’s office is trying to identify a fourth subject regarding the case. According to the sheriff’s office, there is no danger to the public at this time.
