ST. Peters, Missouri (KMOV.com)-A man accused of shooting a police officer in St. Peters on Thursday afternoon was confirmed dead after a police officer shot him in Lincoln County.
A man, later identified as Joe Robido, 21, in Troy, Missouri, legged a 41-year-old police officer during a traffic outage at 3000 blocks on Midrivers Mall Drive near 5:40 pm, officials said. I shot with. Walmart Neighborhood Market. Robido then left the area and police officers were taken to the hospital and later released. His injury was not life-threatening.
The Missouri Highway Patrol issued a blue warning after the shooting that soldiers were looking for a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer with the Missouri license plate 5SAY50. A blue warning will be issued to identify the suspect who has killed or seriously injured a police officer.
Police officers at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office were told that Robido lived in southern Lincoln County. The policeman went home and he saw him in the car. The policeman tried to stop him, but he continued to drive and led the policeman to the 2600 block of Myers Road.
“I kept listening to the sirens,” said the witness. The police shouted for him to get off. “In the siren, I couldn’t hear them every time I heard the pop. I knew exactly what he was saying, so I hit the ground and the man shot the policeman many times. And they finally went ahead and shot him. “”
At 6:30, Robido got out of the car with a gun and began firing at the police. After shooting multiple rounds, police say he grabbed another gun and started shooting again. A Lincoln County Sheriff police car was shot. The policeman turned the fire back and injured Robido. Robido died of injury. The policeman was not injured.

A 25-year-old deputy sheriff worked for four years and a 53-year-old deputy worked for 30 years to return the fire, but took a leave of absence until the results of the investigation came out. A 38-year-old Lake Saint Louis police officer with 15 years of work experience was also involved in the shooting.
