Cleveland, Ohio 2020-10-18 15:28:24 –

Loudonville, Ohio (WJW) —Police say a man died after the first reported domestic conflict at a campsite on Saturday.

At around 6:40 pm, while checking the scene at the Mohawk Reservation Campsite, police officers in Ludonville were told that a male suspect had set fire to his tent, shot people at him, and was about to leave the scene. It was. Take a child.

Upon arriving at the campsite, police saw the suspect rushing away by car, and police began chasing him towards Loudonville on Wally Road. After other police officers rolled a deflationary device across the road, the suspect continued to drive on two wheels until he finally stopped at North Market Street and Campbell Street.

Police said the suspect got out of the car with a visible pistol and “a bullet was fired.” Loudonville EMS declared the man dead on the scene.

No injuries have been reported at the campsite and no police officers have been injured. Authorities, including the Ohio Department of Investigation, are still investigating the case.
