Rogersville, Tennessee (WTVF) —The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation provides up-to-date information on the search for a missing five-year-old from eastern Tennessee. Her disappearance prompted amber alerts throughout the state.
TBI officials said a media briefing would be held at noon CST on Thursday as the crew continued to search the Benhill Road area of Hawkins County.
TBI issued an amber alert for the summer month on Wednesday-UtawellsIt was reportedly last seen outside the Buna Creek community’s home on Tuesday night. The agency said as of Wednesday night, they received about 30 tips in the case.

Earlier on Wednesday, the TBI issued a warning to the girl about an endangered child, but said the agency would issue a state-wide amber alert due to new information and growing concerns about her well-being.
Numerous local, state, and federal agencies support the search for Summerwell. The team was briefed earlier this morning and ground searches around Ben Hill Road resumed.
