Nashville, Tennessee (WKRN) – In Louisville, Kentucky, a 16-year-old mother who wanted to murder Nashville near Nations was arrested with her mother.

Police say the detective identified Mondrel Newsom as a suspect Deadly shooting at 3:30 pm on June 11th at Preston Taylor development.. That day, Gerald Roy Jr., 41, was shot dead in 3900 blocks at Preston Taylor Place. The robbery may have been the motive.

Newsom was believed to be the person in the published surveillance photo. The photo depicts a man, believed to be Newsom, escaping from the shooting scene. An arrest order from the Davidson County Juvenile Court charged Newsom with a criminal murder.

Newsam’s mother, 41-year-old Sharon Newsam, was sought for an unpaid warrant to prosecute her for felony and exacerbated assault and probation violations.

She has been accused of hitting the head of a 43-year-old woman with a gun during the 2019 conflict at Charles E. Davis Boulevard. She was also on probation regarding the 2015 cocaine conviction in which she was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
