Nashville, Tennessee (WKRN) – Three teenagers face several accusations after leading metro police in a dangerous trackdown that began in South Nashville and ended in the 12 South district.

According to several arrest warrants, 18-year-old Wil’yhum Jakwan Green, Ma’carri Chirino, and Qurieana Newby were on Friday afternoon after detectives undercover in the areas of Charles E Davis Boulevard and Lafayette Street in South Nashville. I was arrested.

Investigators say they found the 2020 White Kia Forte stolen in the parking lot. An unmarked vehicle police officer approached the car. Driver Wilifm Green accelerated at high speed and intentionally collided with a policeman’s car. According to police, Green had 10 unresolved warrants, including two vehicle murders.

The document states that Green has taken off and is tracking officers. Metro police helicopter assisted. The stolen vehicle passed through several red lights at high speed and boarded an oncoming vehicle. The car eventually turned to 12 South Beachwood Avenue and collided with a Nissan SUV parked on the side of the road.

The teens fled on foot, but were eventually captured by police. A 16 year old child was also in the car.

According to investigators, police found Green in possession of cocaine. A loaded pistol was found in a black funny pack on site. Another pistol was found in the stolen car.

Green faces several charges, including assault, vehicle theft, possession of pistols, and avoidance of arrests. Newbury has been charged with car theft. Chirino has been charged with vehicle theft, avoiding arrest and possession of a pistol.
