Nashville, Tennessee (AP) — A Tennessee man pleaded guilty to civil rights infringement by setting fire to four churches.
The U.S. Federal Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release that Nashville’s 28-year-old Alan Douglas Fox admitted at a plea hearing on Wednesday that he had deliberately set fire for the religious nature of the church. ..
All fires broke out in June 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Cleevewood, the Baptist Church in Cleevewood, the Catholic Church of St. Ignacio in Antioch, and the Prestreak Community Baptist Church.
He also pleaded guilty to carrying and using firearms during a fire at the Cleevewood Baptist Church. Fox will be sentenced on February 11th.
