Tulsa, Oklahoma — Five years after Terence Crutcher’s death, his family says he is seeking a resumption of his proceedings by the Justice Department.

Terrence was killed by former Tulsa police officer Betty Shelby. Betty Shelby was then acquitted and left the department.

Today, the Foundation of his family honored his memory on the day of his second annual service.

This is just one of several ways the Terence Crutcher Foundation honors him.

At the Saturday event, some people stopped by to enjoy free food and music and had the opportunity to be vaccinated with COVID-19.

This is just one of several ways the Terence Crutcher Foundation honors him.

The Crutcher Foundation usually hosts a gala as one of several events to commemorate Terence, but switched to the Day of Service after the pandemic began.

Tiffany Clutcher, Terence’s twin sister, said she decided to include vaccination this year because her mother died of COVID-19 in early 2021.

“He was singing here now, encouraging people to vaccinate, and cooking for the community because he liked cooking. This focuses on the work done by the Foundation. It’s the culmination of a week-long event. His name and honor, “said Clutcher.
