Due to the loss of pressure on Monday, October 18, 2021, the Texas Environmental Quality Commission will notify all customers of the Lily, Texas ID 0190093 Public Water System to boil water before consumption. Requested (eg wash hands / face, brush teeth, drink, etc.). Children, the elderly, and people with weakened immunity are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers must follow these instructions).

The pressure drop was due to the extension of the water mains along Bunker Hill Road. Affected properties are homes on Bunker Hill Road and Kentucky Circle in Lee Lee, Texas.

To ensure the destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microorganisms, drinking, cooking and ice-making water must be boiled and cooled before being used for drinking water or human consumption. Bring the water to a boil, then bring to a boil for 2 minutes.

Instead of boiling, individuals can buy bottled water or obtain water from drinking water or other suitable water sources for human consumption purposes. When the water no longer needs to be boiled, Public Water Authority staff will notify the customer that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

When the boiling water notice is disabled, the public water system issues a notice to the customer to cancel the boiling water notice in a similar manner to this notice.
