Texarkana, Texas – Cunningham Receives Communicator Awards ‘Award of Excellence’

The University of Arkansas Hope Texakana was recently nominated for two Communicator Awards (“Immersive & Experimental” and “Best Host”) in the Virtual / Remote Event category for the production of “Registration Night Live”. Registration Night Live was a unique live event that took place through the university’s official Facebook page. The Registration Night Live event integrates pre-recorded video with live on-campus video. Jennifer Cunningham, Director of Student Relations, was named Winner of the Communicator Awards “Award of Excellence” for her video during the event.

The Communicator Awards is a leading international award program that advocates effective and meaningful work and recognizes communication excellence across a variety of industries. Founded almost 30 years ago, the Communicator Awards have received approximately 5,000 entries from businesses, agencies, studios and shops of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards in the world. The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts hosts an annual communicator award to celebrate strategic, effective and meaningful communication excellence across digital, video, podcasts, marketing, mobile and printing.

All entries in the Communicator Awards will be judged to assess the differences in creative work. When deciding on Excellence and Distinction Winners, entries are based on marketing and communication excellence criteria. The submitted work will be scored on a 100-point scale by the judges. In general, Excellence Winners receive a score of 90 or higher, and Distinction Winners receive a score of 70-89.
