Texarkana, Texas (KTAL / KMSS) – Texarkana authorities are still actively looking for men they say are responsible for multiple shootings across state boundaries.

Over the last two weeks, there have been several shootings at Texarkana. Authorities believe that one man was involved in three recent cases.

Both Texer Kana Arkansas and Texas police are looking for 20-year-old Marquis Jufan Thompson.

Thompson shot the same man twice last week on two separate occasions at 10-day intervals on either side of the stateline, officials said.

According to officials, Thompson has multiple felony warrants for murder, assault, probation violations in the 2017 mass shootings, stalking and intimidation.

Sean Bourne, a spokesman for the Texarkana Police Department in Texas, said authorities have evidence linking Thompson with yesterday’s shootings.

“Yesterday I got information and ID about Texark and I knew he was responsible for yesterday’s shooting. We know that there are people in the community who are helping him. I know. I helped him hide. He helped me move away from us, “said Sean Bourne of the Texarkana Police Department in Texas.

Officials say the shooting has nothing to do with Chilean crime. Authorities say none of these cases are random acts. Victims were targeted.

Thompson is armed and considered dangerous.
