If you are a parent or guardian of children in the Texarkana area like me, you will probably find a flyer about your local Cub Scout recruiting you to enroll in your student folder. I’m used to seeing them come back to. If you’re not sure what the Cad Area Council offers to local students, we asked Janice Richardson, Development Director / Office Manager, and Zoe Nakasian, District Executive of the Cado Area Council, for more information.Information on the benefits of enrolling students in Cub Scout for boys and girls from kindergarten to 5 years oldNS School year.

When parents enroll their students in scouts, they enroll their children in more than just fun or school night adventures. In fact, students signing up as Cubs and advancing the pack can learn first aid training, camping, outdoor skills and more. Students arriving at Eagle Scout will have the opportunity to graduate and join the higher army, as well as receive numerous scholarships at the university. The benefits of joining a scout are numerous throughout life.

“We are number one in recruitment across the country. We have seen a significant increase in the number of students participating in scouts and have achieved positive growth over the last four years,” says Janice. Parents at risk due to financial hardship can apply for financial assistance through the Kado Regional Council. Those in need of assistance can fill out the form at any time of the year, online or directly at the Cado Area Council. The regular annual fee for enrolling students in Scouts is proportional to $ 49.00.

Events that parents, parents and students are looking forward to include the Cub Fun Day on October 2nd and the Candy Camp from October 22nd to October 23rd.To subscribe to these events, you can: click here.. Meetings are usually held in packs once a week, but during the summer students can enjoy numerous camps, including archery and camping trips.
