Texarkana, Texas – Suspect on the run after shooting two people in Hooks

At approximately 1:29 p.m. Saturday, the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at driveway 82008 outside Hooks, Texas. Deputies arrived and found two victims, a man and a woman, who had been shot outside the house. Both were taken by ambulance and saved their lives.

A Hispanic man identified as Seraphine Garcia Alanis, 55, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died from his injuries. The 52-year-old Hispanic female victim, also from Texarkana, Arkansas, has been treated for multiple gunshot wounds and is in stable condition.

The suspect in this crime has been identified as Hector Alejandro Pintor Aguilar, a Hispanic male approximately 32 years old. The suspect later fled the scene in a wrecked car in Sevier County, Arkansas. When passers-by stopped to check on him, he robbed their car at gunpoint. He then fled north on Route 71 in a stolen car.

The stolen vehicle is a 2005 GMC 4WD truck, white in color and lifted by large wheels. The vehicle must display the AR license plate AGS 98H. The firearm used in this crime has not been recovered and may still be in the suspect’s possession. If you spot this vehicle and/or suspect, stay away and contact local law enforcement.

Investigators are working to issue warrants for murder by lethal weapon and aggravated assault. He is considered armed and dangerous.
