Texarkana, Texas – Texarkana woman wanted in deadly road confrontation is now in custody

Texarkana, Arkansas (KTAL / KSHV) — A woman who wanted a road conflict that killed a Texarkana man earlier this week is currently in custody.

According to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, around 10 am on Friday, 28-year-old Tandraniqua S. Burris of Texarkana, Texas, turned himself into a TAPD detective.

Barris has been accused of shooting 33-year-old Aaron Brown multiple times in 300 blocks in East 49 on Saturday.th Holy.

Brown was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital and died of an injury. The second person was also shot.

Investigators said the shooting appeared to be the result of a road conflict between Barris and Brown heading for the Whiskey River with a second victim and two other friends.

Barris will be booked at Miller County Prison for the following rates:

  • Murder once
  • Deteriorated assault
  • Possession of a gun by a specific person

Investigation is ongoing.
