Texarkana, Texas – Warrant issued for 2nd suspect in deadly road confrontation in Texarkana

Texarkana, Texas. (KTAL / KSHV) — The Texar Kana Arkansas Police Department secured a man’s arrest warrant two weeks ago in an investigation into a deadly shooting in Miller County.

According to TAPD, 19-year-old Jacarious Johnson in Texarkana, Texas, has been sought to exacerbate a single murder and assault in a 33-year-old Aaron Brown shooting.

The deadly shooting took place on Saturday, July 10, at 300 blocks on East 49th Street. Police said at around 11:20 pm, they received a bullet wound in the area, and when they arrived at the scene, they found Brown and another person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Brown was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital and died of an injury. According to investigators, the shooting was the result of a road conflict between Barris and Brown heading for the Whiskey River with a second victim and two other friends.

Tandraniqua S in Texarkana, Texas. Burris, 28, turned to a TAPD detective on Friday, July 16th, after learning that she was the subject of an investigation. Johnson is armed and considered dangerous.
