Poteet, Texas — The Poteet Independent School District posted on its Facebook page that students under 8th grade cannot participate in home soccer games without a parent, guardian, or adult sibling.

The district also says that those students must sit on a stand with an adult unless they go to the bathroom or kiosk. Students are also not allowed to bring backpacks to home games.

“These decisions are the result of unsafe play and toilet destruction and vandalism in response to the current TikTok challenges that have plagued school district facilities throughout the state,” said a post written by director Charles Camarillo. I am.

“Do not send or drop a student into a home football game without a parent, guardian, or adult sibling. The student will be denied admission.”

The post ends in a district that wants Friday night to be “fun and safe.”
