A shooter who killed 19 children and two teachers in Yuvarde, Texas on Tuesday allegedly sent a series of text messages to a 15-year-old girl. Germany Shortly before he carried out his deadly attack, CNN and the German media reported.

The unidentified girl had been in contact with 18-year-old Salvador Ramos for several weeks.

The girl said she communicated with him via Yubo, a social livestreaming app, in addition to daily video chat via FaceTime. The two played an online game via the game app Plato.

In a text message exchange reviewed by CNN, Ramos added to a girl in Frankfurt that her grandmother complained that she was “calling AT & T about my phone” and that it was “annoying.”

A few minutes later, he wrote: “I just shot Grandma’s head.”

Then, at 11:21 am CT, he wrote: [right now].. “

On Wednesday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott told reporters that the shooter posted on Facebook “about 30 minutes before arriving at school.”

“The first post was up to the point where I said,’I’m going to shoot my grandmother,'” Abbott said. The second post was “I shot my grandmother.” The third post was “I’m going to shoot the elementary school” within 15 minutes of arriving at school. “

“The history of the shooter’s mental health is unknown,” Abbott said.

The shooting began at 11:32 am when the shooter, who appears to have posted a picture of “my gun” on Instagram four days ago, fired in a classroom at ages 9 and 10.

The German girl told CNN that she had been talking online regularly since the beginning of May and was planning to come to Europe and visit her.

“I’m coming soon,” he told the girl at one point, attaching a screenshot of Google’s flight itinerary from San Antonio to Germany.

The girl said she would send a selfie video and said she seemed to spend a lot of time alone at home.

Prior to the attack, Ramos added to the teenage girl he bought the bullet that they would expand as they entered the body. When she asked what she was going to do with them, he said, “Just wait for it.”

The girl told CNN that Ramos spent most of her time at home alone, asking about her life in Germany.

“Every time I talk to him … he never made plans with his friends,” she said.

“He looked happy and comfortable talking to me.”

But the girl said other messages he sent surprised her, including what he said “throwed a dead cat into people’s homes.”
