A Texas woman accused of shooting a professional cyclist at her Austin home two months ago was charged with one murder.
NBC affiliates KXAN and FOX7 reported that Kaitlin Marie Armstrong is not currently detained in Travis County Jail.
The Associated Press reported that Anna Moriah “Mo” Wilson’s body was found on May 11.
On May 19, Austin police issued a murder warrant to Armstrong.
Armstrong was questioned about Wilson’s death on May 13, officials said.
That same day, Armstrong sold her car and flew from Austin to Houston. On May 18, the press reported that she flew from New York to Newark, NJ, and then to San Jose, Costa Rica, using a fraudulent passport.
According to AP, Wilson, who was in Austin for a cycling event, had previously dated Armstrong’s boyfriend.
The US Marshals Service was able to occupy Armstrong on June 30th.
KTRK reported that Armstrong landed in Houston on Saturday.
