Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (WBTW) —Thursday is the last day at Nicole’s News13 Anchor Desk.
But with us working with her and you looking at her, you won’t see her much, but her family sees more.
A public stage with a strong private life. And that side of Nicole moves forward with the people she is deeply committed to: her close friends, her new husband, and her two children, Mack and Olivia.
“I’m very committed, and that’s what I respect for her,” said Nicole’s daughter Olivia Boone. “She not only grew up as a single mother, but was also very enthusiastic about her work, which was very encouraging.”
“It surprised me that she was able to pull it all off,” said Nicole’s mother Sandra Prince.
“It’s great to think that she’s been part of News 13 for years,” said Nicole’s son McBoon. “That certainly reflects on me. I want to be part of the company for so long and I want to have such a relationship with my colleagues, so it’s great to see how long she was part of that family. is.”
And Nicole, a member of the News13 family, is everything Mac and Olivia have ever known. In fact, Olivia was born at McCloud Hospital in the middle of the 2001 News13 Children’s Miracle Network.
“We were there and suddenly all Nicole disappeared,” said Anna Marie Bost, WBTW producer since 1997. “Come to know, she gave birth during Teleson, and a few hours later, Bob was interviewing her in her room.”
“When she was pregnant, we were talking, and I had a fever, and she looked at me and said,” You have to turn on the AC. It’s hot. I’m pregnant. News13 photojournalist Curtis Graham said: “That is, 42 degrees outside the car and 35 degrees inside the car. I’m about to freeze, and she. She is happy because she got a little air. ”
And again, her airtime is nothing compared to the time she spends with her children.
“She always puts children first, and Mack and Libby have grown into extraordinary children who I love and think they are,” said Nicole’s friend Nedonna Pender. Told. “She is a wonderful mother.”
“Livy and Mack, they are the focus and revenue of her life,” said Nicole’s friend Tara Mager.
And now there is a new “line” in her story. As of 2.5 months ago, she married Watts Huckabee.
“She is as beautiful on the inside as on the outside,” Huckabee said. “I think it was the fact that she was a beautiful woman inside that led me to her.”
He and Nicole will then be able to share their home and make new memories with friends and family, including Clemson football.
“I just wanted to celebrate my great career first,” said Davos Winnie, Clemson Head Football Coach. “Congratulations on your retirement. Hopefully you and your husband will enjoy a little more time and return here to Clemson a little more often.”
