Business partners Horn and Jeffrey Peterson planned to move from Minnesota to Atlanta in 2019 and open a small restaurant in June 2020. The pandemic upset their plans. Horn learned of Maureen Mehren (who owns Pullman Yard with her husband Adam Rosenfeld) at art school, and after working in the film industry for nearly 20 years, he owns a restaurant. The building is believed to have been a tool shed in the 1950s and had no plumbing or electricity, but the team realized that the roof was historically important and chose to preserve it rather than break it. .. “We run a very limited menu,” says Horn, pointing out the difficulty of finding staff. “For now, it’s basically just my partner and I cooking and cooking.
