“The Crazy Things”: Tennessee Police Shock Escapes and “Upset” Zebras with Taser Guns | Tennessee

Law enforcement officers helped catch a loose zebra in the middle Tennessee After escaping from an exotic livestock auction.

According to media outlets, the Cookeville Police Department and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office helped Triple W employees capture “excited” zebras early Friday morning. Cookeville is about 80 miles (128 km) east of Nashville.

Several methods were used to regain control of the animal. At some point, two police officers made a “failed attempt” to help deploy taser guns and capture animals.

Prescott South Middle School Teacher, Ashridaniel Francis, Told WSMV-TV She noticed Zebra while driving and called it “the crazy thing I’ve ever seen in this town.”

It took nearly three hours to corner the zebra and point it at the transport trailer.
