NS. Louis (KMOV.com)-Hundreds of family and friends gathered in northern St. Louis on Friday night to celebrate the life of a young woman who was killed in four shootings.

Isis Mahr was killed on October 17th. She was 19 years old. Police in St. Louis responded to a shooting at 8500 blocks on Church Road near McLaran Avenue just before 1:30 am. Three other young men were shot dead, but Isis was found dead when police arrived.

Murder investigators are investigating four shootings that killed 19 years old.

Isis lovers have released blue and pink balloons (Isis’ favorite color) at the baseball stadium at the Hall Recreation Center. Isis came to the Wall Center to teach young children. This is one of many signs of how enthusiastic and devoted she was to helping others.

“She was a young woman who stood out in the crowd because she was always trying to help someone. She was giving someone a ride when she was killed,” said Brenda, Isis’ grandmother. Ma said. “I’m always willing to reach out and help others.”

She said her granddaughter was working to become a nurse in the future.

“I really felt she was very likely to follow in my footsteps. I really thought she would be a leader everywhere in her career,” said Brenda Marr.

“Genuine, honest love, just a big heart,” said Atif Ma, the father of Isis. “It was my best friend.”

Atif Mahr does not want the St. Louis community to accept the violence that would normally take her daughter.

“It will be what my daughter wants, expects, and dreams of happening,” said Atif Marr. “We have to change our culture. People believe it’s okay to do this, and because this is a new norm, it’s not just me, but the victims of all the other violence that live here. And its family also have a paralyzing effect. “

Atif Mahr says more families need to be more active with their children from an early age to reduce the need to use violence.

“At some point we have to love ourselves and teach these children to love ourselves. They first came to love themselves, but it started at home. “I will.” “People make mistakes, which cost my daughter’s life.”

Crime Stopper is rewarding $ 10,000 for tips that lead to four shootings last weekend and the arrest of Isis’ death.
