Police are investigating the deaths of three Americans at a resort in the Bahamas.
Chester Cooper, acting Prime Minister of the Bahamas, said two men and one woman died at a resort on the island of Great Exuma on Friday.
Cooper didn’t name the resort, but according to CNN, Sandals Resorts said three guests had died at the Emerald Bay Resort in Great Exuma.
An American woman was airlifted to a hospital in Nassau.
No details have been released on how the three died. They have not yet been publicly identified.
Royal Bahamian police said they were investigating reports of couples complaining of illness and seeking treatment at the hospital.
Officers did not find any signs of trauma, but at least two appeared to “show signs of seizures.”
Cooper said no fraudulent play was suspected.
