San Francisco-A pie somewhere! You can also get delicious slices from the Three Babes Bakery at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market starting Saturday at 8am.

Operated by the Urban Education Center for Non-Profit Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA), this California-certified farmer’s market is widely valued for both the quality and variety of fresh produce. The popular shopping experience attracts nearly 40,000 visitors each week.

“Before we started our business, we had all the best food in the Bay Area, so we dreamed of having a stand here someday,” said Lenore Estrada, owner of the Three Babes Bakery.

Three Babes Bakeshop uses local organic ingredients to bake pies with butter, flaky rind and healthy stuffing. Northern California ingredients, hand-crafted crust, and compassion are incorporated into every piece, and the menu is constantly changing with the seasons.

“It’s freshly baked and amazing,” said customer Michael Chen.

Every weekend, the shop offers slices and whole pies at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, but these treats sell out quickly so you’ll get there early.

“I came here and tried to get a pumpkin pie, but it was always sold out,” said customer Arvind Veluvali. “That’s why I had to say,’Sufficient, I need a pumpkin pie,’ and come at 9:30 in the morning. ”

“I like making pies because of the emotional connections people have with our products,” said Zoe Williams, sales director at Three Babes Bakeshop.

“Sometimes I come across people and they say,” The Three Babes stand is where I went for my first date with my spouse, “Estrada explained. “Being part of people’s stories is probably the most exciting thing.”

In addition to running a pie shop, Estrada is also the co-founder of SF New Deal, a non-profit organization launched in response to orders for Pandemic Shelter-in-Place.

The SF New Deal provides support services and financial opportunities for SMEs in San Francisco, addressing both the signs and root causes of inequality. The organization is dedicated to building channels that connect local business owners, workers, community leaders, and needy neighbors.

“The reason I run a small business is to create jobs and work with the community to provide people with a better life. It’s always part of my job and motivates me. “Estrada says.
