Nashville, Tennessee (WSMV)-Three people were taken to the Vanderbilt Medical Center after being shot outside a popular West End hotel and crashing into a car.

The scene was included at the intersection of 21st Street and Hayes Street, just outside Hyatt House Nashville. According to Metro Nashville Fire, there was a car that collided with the polling place when it arrived at the scene.

There were four people in the car, and three were taken to Vanderbilt by gunshot wounds. The fourth was a minor and was taken to the Vanderbild Children’s Hospital. According to witnesses on the scene, the boy was not seriously injured, but only injured in a collision.

This was the second shooting call the dispatch received within an hour. A woman was shot dead in North Nashville just eight minutes before the shooting.
