Three residents of St. Therese Plaza test positive for COVID-19 – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

There have been three confirmed cases of COVID-19 at St. Therese Plaza, a senior living apartment in Allegheny County.Management at St. Therese said that two out of the three cases have been traced back to a church festival earlier this month.One of the three residents was rushed to the hospital last week. It is unclear if that resident attended the festival, but their caregiver also tested positive for COVID-19.After that incident, management notified the residents and suggested they get tested. From those test, the other two positive cases were found. Officials have asked people to self-screen and sanitize before coming into the building. They are also asking residence to have proper sanitation process. A few more residents are waiting on their test results.
