Walthill, Nebraska (KMTV) —Patrol, Nebraska (NSP) has called for assistance from the Thurston County Security Officer’s Office in investigating an accident involving NSP investigators and dead pedestrians.
The NSP states: “The incident occurred around 5:08 am when NSP investigators were traveling south on Route 77. The vehicle was about a mile north of Walthill, so it went south on Highway 77. I collided with a pedestrian in my lane. “
Investigators immediately called for emergency medical care, but a female pedestrian was sentenced to death at the scene, according to the NSP.
The NSP added: “Pedestrians left a rural house on the east side of highway 77, crossed the north-facing lane of highway 77, and were in the south-facing lane at the time of the collision, according to preliminary research. Others were injured in the incident. I have never done it. “
“We are deeply moved by this tragic event,” said Colonel John Boldak. “Our condolences are in the pedestrian family, and our thoughts are in our investigators involved in this unfortunate situation.”
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office will be the main research institute. The NSP is also seeking assistance from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office in rebuilding the “Collision Reconstruction Aspects of the Investigation.”
