Nashville, TN (WKRN) —Additional players or staff within the Tennessee Titans organization have not tested positive for COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, the NFL confirmed Friday morning.
The league announced Thursday night that the match against Buffalo Bills will move from Sunday to Tuesday at 6 pm. However, only if no additional positive cases have been reported prior to the match.
The game was postponed Thursday morning after two additional Titans players tested positive for the virus. These two cases were associated with an outbreak of coronavirus within the team, with 12 players and 9 staff infected with COVID-19 in just over a week.
The Titans practice facility was closed on September 29, when all face-to-face activities were suspended after three players and five staff members received positive test results.
