Chicago — Officials say the tornado struck a community outside Chicago, causing winds of over 135 miles per hour in populated areas.
The Sunday night storm damaged more than 200 homes, collapsed trees, lost power, and injured several in Naperville, Woodridge, and Darien.
However, officials reported that they believed no one was dead, so they were relieved on Monday.
A team from the National Weather Service is investigating the damage. They believe it was an EF-3 tornado. Chicago Tribune, And meteorologists say images from the ground and witnesses helped quickly identify storms and intensities.

Two tornadoes also struck Indiana, damaging some barns and trees.
