Spartanburg County, South Carolina (WSPA) – The owner of the towing company was arrested on several charges after an agent said he was in conflict with another towing company on an interstate highway Wednesday night. I did.

The Spartanberg County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident involving Chris Cole and another repo company on I-26. Cole discovered that another company had regained some of his cars hidden in North Carolina and returned with them to Spartanberg.

Lawmakers say Cole tracked another company on the interstate and pushed one of his cars off the road and into a ditch. He then picked up one of the towing company’s trucks with a snatch truck to prevent the vehicle from being damaged.

After everyone got out of the car and the conflict continued, Cole presented the gun in a threatening way. According to the sheriff’s office, the gun was also carried outside his waistband.

Cole was charged with kidnapping, pointing, quadruple presentation, illegal carrying, possession of weapons during a violent crime, and malicious damages to personal property.

Warrant was signed by Judge Abbott and served Cole in jail. It was also discovered on-site that the snatch truck used for the crime was currently seized by the bank and the vehicle was handed over to the company after proper paperwork.
