Greenville, South Carolina (WSPA) – A man accused of murdering an 18-year-old high school girl appears in front of a greenville jury this week, more than four years after her death.
Reported earlier Daniel de Jesus Langer Scheller was 19 years old when he was charged with murder and possession of weapons during a violent crime. Police reported that it all happened in October 2017 when 18-year-old Diana Martinez Gonzalez was shot dead.
Initial police reports that everything was deployed near Saluda Dam Road in the woodlands of Greenville. So, within minutes of the first 911 call, an agent arrested Daniel de Jesus Langer Scheller.
Former Greenville County Sheriff told 7NEWS that Scheller admitted the crime, told his agent that he and Martinez Gonzalez had previously been involved in a dispute, and said he had pushed her into the woods and shot her.
Scheller has been charged with murder and possession of weapons during a violent crime and has been awaiting trial ever since.
