Oklahoma City (Free press) — The founding chair of the Oklahoma County Prison Trust resigned on Friday, April 30.
The short resignation vaguely quoted her confirmation as Secretary of Public Security because of Oklahoma. Below is the entire resignation of her.
This comes near the end of a turbulent year called the Prison Trust or officially the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority. There, protesters interfered with the meeting because they said it was a violation of public meeting rules and dishonest behavior.
The idea of the Prison Trust was formed primarily by Commissioner Kevin Calvey from Commissioner Oklahoma County and was endorsed by Commissioner Brian Morgan. Oklahoma County has three members.
