The Surrarrer Elementary School PTA hosted the event and established the #NoahBeStrong Committee to support third graders and their families.

Strongsville police led Noah’s neighborhood to a parade, where each vehicle dropped candies, sweets, and toys.

“MeIt was a lot of fun and insane as to how much I got, “Noah said.

Noah was diagnosed with a very rare form of osteosarcoma called osteosarcoma in mid-August.

His parents say he showed few symptoms, but when he started moving more slowly and experienced pain while running, they knew something was wrong.

Then they noticed something that looked like an insect bite on his left foot.

“I noticed it, like a little lump that caught a little light,” said Noah’s father, Rob.

Doctors at University Rainbow Babys and Childrens Hospital conducted multiple tests and made a rare diagnosis within a few days.

“”It’s a very unexpected, overnight diagnosis, “said Noah’s mother, Susan. “Noah was a soldier through all his diagnostic tests and treatments.”

In addition to chemotherapy, Noah also faces some difficult surgery.

“So they’re going to remove some of his femur and replace it with a rod,” Rob said.

To help increase medical costs, loved ones have created a special T-shirt with GoFundMe.

The tee has “May the Strength Be with You” printed on the front and was designed by Noah and his family.

“”I like Star Wars, so it might be better to add some Star Wars puns, “Noah said.

The whole family is optimistic about the future and thank everyone in the community for all their love and support, especially the incredibly sweet trick or treat parade, from close friends to strangers.

“NSThank you everyone. I am very grateful, “Rob and Noah said with a smile.
