Trump administration officials to testify on Jan. 6 riots – Tampa, Florida

Tampa, Florida 2021-05-12 05:58:56 –

Two senior Trump Cabinet officials plan to defend their actions when they appear in Congress during the January 6 riots at the US Capitol.

Former Deputy Defense Minister Christopher Miller plans to say that he stands behind all the decisions he made that day.

In prepared testimony obtained by the Associated Press, Miller could send troops to the building to incite fear of a military coup and cause repeated Vietnamese-era shootings in Kent that killed four students. He says he was worried about having sex before the riot.

Former Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen also testifies in front of the House Oversight Committee.
