Tucson, Arizona (KGUN) —Tucson community members gathered on Sunday night for a candlelight march against anti-Semitism.
A candlelight march was held to support the Jewish community and stand up and confront hatred.
The march began in Habad on River Road and ended at the Holocaust Memorial at the Tucson Jewish Community Center.
The event included speeches from Congressman Alma Hernandez and several religious leaders in the community.
According to the organizers, the march is in response to recent vandalism against the local Jewish community and two synagogues.
Last week, Chabad on River was destroyed by nasty messages and symbols sprayed on the door.
In May, rocks were thrown through the windows of the Congregation Chaverim near Speedway Boulevard.
