Omaha, Nebraska — This is the third year that Share Omaha has partnered with a Secret Kindness Agent to provide free warm clothing left in Turner Park to those in need.

“In our little corner of the world, we call it Tuesday 402 and 712. We’re trying to shed light on as many nonprofits as possible. Today, we want the entire sector to feel generous and supportive. That’s it. ” Marjorie Mars, Executive Director of Share Omaha.

According to Mars, this creates the spirit of the holiday season by giving away coats, hats, scarves and even body warmers.

Not everyone has cash to donate, but most people have one or two unused, gently worn items that they can donate.

“Cash is important to nonprofits, of course, but it also needs to meet practical needs. It would be great if people could give cash and show generosity and gifts,” Mars continued. I did.

She says that getting the community involved in contributing something bigger than themselves is one of the biggest rewards ever imagined.

“This effort is noteworthy, which has become a tradition in the secret kindness agent network of families and people.”

Items not taken out of Turner Park will be donated to a local shelter.
