Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – One of Albuquerque’s most eye-catching holiday events is back again after a pandemic break last year. The Twinkle Light Parade will return to Nob Hill on December 4th.

According to the city, there are no major changes to this year’s event. This year’s event will have 102 entries and the parade will be attended by approximately 3,000 people. Visitors are encouraged to find a place to see the parade early.

Jesse Brown and her family have been in the Twinkle Light Parade for 10 years. She said she was happy with this recurring tradition in children’s lives. “I know my kids will remember this for the rest of their lives, and these are the memories we love to make with our family and all our friends,” says Brown. For the first few years she said they had a simpler idea of ​​their floats. However, as the years went by, it took a month and a half to prepare the float, and the decoration became more elaborate. “This event is a great opportunity to get together with all our friends. The parade heads west on Central Avenue from Washington Street through Nob Hill to Girard Boulevard. Central will be closed from 3 pm to prepare for the parade.The event starts at 5:15 pm
