IONE (CBS13) – The Amador County Sheriff’s Office has identified two women. The body was found in Ione’s vault Early this month.
The victims are 46-year-old Trinity Scott Johnson and 59-year-old Deborah Joan Meredith. Both are Ione.
On February 10, authorities received reports of a missing woman. The detective suspected that cheating was involved, but received conflicting reports that the woman may be in Louisiana.
Dante Michael Campbell was said to be dating a missing woman at the time. Congressmen went to Campbell’s house, and while there, found Campbell in a storage facility across the street. They warned the detective.
Based on the information they found, the detective searched the RV in the Ione storage facility and found the female body.
While they were searching for the unit, the detective was contacted by someone who said Campbell and another woman who was last seen went missing on the night of February 11. The detective was led to a second storage unit that found the body of the second woman.
