U.S. Marshals join search for suspect in KC homicide, add $2,500 to reward – Wichita, Kansas

Kansas City, Missouri (WDAF) – On August 23, 2020, the United States Marshals Service Office joined the search for suspected murderers in Kansas City, Missouri.

KaShawn Nicole Roper was charged with a second murder, two armed criminal acts, and illegal use of weapons in a deadly shooting of Jazmyn Henrion, 23, by the Jackson County Public Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the Marshall office, Roper is actively evading law enforcement agencies, adding $ 2,500 to the $ 2,000 provided by crime stoppers and $ 2,500 for information that could lead to arrests. Tipping must be sent directly to Marshall Services.

Investigators say the deadly shooting took place near 68th Avenue and Cleveland Avenue.

Around 3:30 am, several people arrived at the hospital. Henrion died of an injury, and a second survived the injury.

Roper is a 5’5 inch black woman who weighs about 120 pounds and is believed to be in Denver, Kansas, and Missouri.
