U.S. targets terrorist groups of Colombian guerrilla debris

The Biden administration has added two new Colombian drug trafficking gangs to the list of foreign terrorist organizations, reflecting US determination to support a peace agreement in Colombia threatened by the group’s mayhem.

The United States declared on Tuesday: New Marketaria Group FARC-EP participates in the blacklist of groups including al-Qaeda, Hamas and Boko Haram. At the same time, the Byden administration announced that it would remove the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) after the guerrilla group “formally disbanded and disarmed” decades ago when it signed a peace agreement with the Colombian government in 2016.The Wall Street Journal Report on deletion last week.
