Under armor Earnings and sales for the second quarter on Tuesday were higher than analysts expected as turnaround efforts took hold and shoppers bought more products at full prices.
Athletic apparel makers have also raised their outlook for the year.
Under Armor shares surged 7% in expansion trading.
Based on an analyst survey by Refinitiv, Under Armor reported the following during the three months ended June 30th, compared to what Wall Street expected:
- Earnings per share: adjusted 24 cents vs. expected 6 cents
- Revenue: $ 1.4 billion vs. $ 1.21 billion forecast
