Honolulu (KHON2) — The University of Hawaii campus throughout the state announced plans to begin this spring to celebrate graduates, from face-to-face to virtual.
The University of Hawaii at West Oahu will begin its graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 8th, celebrating a virtual ceremony followed by a drive-through. Graduates of the University of Hawaii at Manoa will have the opportunity to participate in a limited face-to-face diploma presentation and photo shoot if registered by May 1.

May 8 UH West Oaf — — 2021 Spring Graduation CeremonyThe pre-recorded video presentation will debut around 9am. This is followed by a drive-through celebration from 2 pm to 5 pm. Students pre-registered for this campus event will receive a diploma cover. Have them read the official photo and name and receive the gift item.
May 10th and 14th, Leeward Community College — The virtual start will start on May 10th. Registered graduate From 10 am to 3 pm on May 14, graduates can get out of the car and take pictures on stage. All graduates from Summer 2019 to Fall 2021 are eligible to participate.
May 13-16, University of Hawaii at Manoa — The week after the final, a special message will be recorded and posted online. In addition, students enrolled by May 1st will have the opportunity to participate in direct diploma presentations and photo shoots (two guests per student are allowed). May 14 Hawaii Community College (Hiro) — A Drive-through ceremony It will be held on the Manono Campus from 9:15 am to 2:30 pm and will be livestreamed on the Hawaii CC YouTube channel. In addition, NāLeoTV will premiere a pre-recorded virtual start at 6 pm.
May 14 Honolulu Community College — — Graduation start celebration website All graduates from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021 had the option to join and upload their personal web pages to share with family and friends. Grad Photo Days was also held on campus in April, allowing graduates to take pictures with Prime Minister Karen Lee or a cutout.
May 14th and 16th, Kapiolani Community College — A Socially distant walkthrough graduation ceremony It will be held on campus for registered students from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on May 14th at designated times. The graduate school web page will also be released on May 14th. May 16th Virtual celebration It takes place from 5 pm to 6 pm
May 14 Windward Community College — — On campus, drive-through caravan Held at 5:30 pm There is an on-screen ceremony that graduates can see from their car before the start caravan begins.
May 15, University of Hawaii at Hilo — — start It starts at 8:30 am with Kihei’s tying ceremony via zoom. The virtual start presentation will premiere at 9am. UH Hiro YouTube Channel..The start of drive-through in alpha order of surnames starts at 10 am
May 15 Hawaii Community College-Paramanui and University Center, West Hawaii (Kona) — A Drive-through ceremony It will be held from 10 am to 1:30 pm. Graduates receive a diploma and take a picture. NāLeoTV presents a pre-recorded virtual start. It premiered on May 14th and will continue to air on NāLeoTV for several weeks.
May 15 Kaua’i Community College — A Drive-through ceremony It will be held from 10 am to 11:30 am. Alumni and their families are photographed in front of a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Daniel K. Inouye Electronics Building. When the ceremony begins, the vehicle will be instructed to start driving in front of the Performing Arts Center. There, you will stay in the vehicle and receive a diploma from Prime Minister Joseph Daisy.
