New Orleans-College of the Holy Cross officially opens the Brown Foundation Beverage Science Institute on Westbank Campus. The comprehensive facility allows faculty members of the university’s food science program to expand the curriculum to include growing areas of bottled and canned beverage manufacturing.
The new lab is made possible with the support of the local Brown Foundation, which has contributed nearly $ 500,000 to UHC’s food science program over the past six years.
At the Brown Foundation Beverage Science Laboratory, you can learn how to make non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages such as flavored water, non-carbonated and carbonated beverages, and liquid milk beverages.
