Las Vegas (KTNV) —UNLV faculty and staff are short on time to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Employees must take a shot by Wednesday, December 1st.

On September 30, the Nevada Higher Education System (NSHE) Board mandates all NSHE employees, including UNLV, CSN, DRI, and the University of Nevada, Southern Nevada, to be fully vaccinated with COVID-19. Approved urgent policy. As a condition of employment, December 1, 2021.
As of Wednesday morning, the NSHE COVID-19 Information Center showed that 90.4% of UNLV employees were vaccinated against COVID-19. The graph shows that 716 employees did not submit proof of vaccination. An additional 178 employees have submitted medical or religious exemptions.
