Las Vegas (KLAS) — UNLV has one of the most ethnically diverse campuses in the country.

This was a four-party tie that ranked first in the latest US News & World Report rankings.

About two-thirds of UNLV undergraduates recognize that they are part of a racial or ethnic minority.

UNLV also topped the category in 2018 and 2019.

Other schools that share the top ranking are Stanford University, Hawaii University Hilo, and the University of San Francisco.

US News takes into account the total number of minority students, the exclusion of international students, and the overall composition of the group.

The data is extracted from the total number of undergraduate students in the fall of 2020 at each institution.

Ethnic categories used in the calculation are Non-Hispanic African American, Hispanic, American Indian, Pacific Islander / Native Hawaiian, Asian, Non-Hispanic White, and Multiethnic (two or more races). )is.
