Update: Arrests made for independent murder – Wichita, Kansas

Montgomery County, Kansas (KSNW) – An independent man has been arrested on suspicion of killing two men and injuring one woman.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Independent Police Department issued an arrest warrant for the 18-year-old James TS Independent Fourth Goforce at Labette County Prison at 5:15 pm on Sunday.

The arrest warrant alleged that Gofourth committed two single murders with the deaths of 27-year-old Tyler Cook and 24-year-old Rodricus Dawson.

Gofourth also allegedly committed one attempted murder for injuring a 27-year-old independent woman. The woman remains hospitalized.

Gofourth had already been detained in Labette County Jail on suspicion of a crime unrelated to the murder on Friday morning. Investigation is ongoing.
