Kansas City, Missouri (KCTV) –Kansas City police are investigating a mass shooting in the Ruskin Heights area on Tuesday afternoon.

Occurs in the area of ​​E.109th Avenue and Sycamore Terrace around 2:30 pm.

The Ruskin Heights district is a few blocks east of Blue Ridge Boulevard.

A police dispatcher told KCTV5 News that CPR is being performed on-site. Later, KCTV5 was informed that the victim had died.

No further information is available at this time.

This is the third shoot at KCMO on Tuesday afternoon in just over an hour. Of the three shootings, two died.

One shooting occurred at 1:30 pm in the areas of Independence Avenue and Belz Avenue. That is now a murder investigation.

Another shooting incident on E. 52nd Street and Euclid Avenue also occurred at 2:30 pm.
