Update (CBS46)-A woman who died at a hotel along Barrett Creek Parkway in Marietta was identified as 31-year-old Jalin Berton.

Cobb County police responded to the scene on Monday at around 11:30 am after receiving a call from a downed person. Investigators believe she died from a knife.

Cobb County, Georgia (CBS46)-Death investigations are underway after authorities found the body during a long stay in Cobb County.
