Virginia Beach, Virginia (WAVY) —A woman in Virginia Beach was arrested on Friday in connection with vandalism and reckless handling of firearms.

Police say they received a call on Friday at 4100 blocks in the Talia Station Circle regarding shootings and vehicle damage.

As police officers responded to the scene, they noticed that a suspect identified as Reicha McTire had left the scene. Police officers implemented a traffic stop and immediately detained McTire.

Police say the suspect had two unresolved warrants for a simple assault at the time of the incident. She faces the additional crimes of felony destruction of property, misdemeanor destruction of property, reckless handling of firearms, firing of firearms in public places, and making children accessible to firearms. ..
